Ken kept his appointment:
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27
Ken laid down his life for a stranger:
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John15:12,13
What Ken had:
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1Peter 1:23-25

Dear Brethren,
Bro. Ken Parfitt died today after attempting to help a stranded motorist. Please pray for his Family.
He was a member of Old Paths Bible Baptist in Clarendon (Rochester) were my wife Amy is from. I have taken out his son Allen to the college with me.
Read this emotionally gripping account give by a Mormon radio host who was there and moved by this event. I pray he will trust Christ through this as well as others. http://www.boblonsberry.com/writings.cfm (Please leave a comment)
