The Aqua Kids help collect Apple Snail Eggs that are threatened by a long drought on Lake Ockeechobee.
Apple Snails are the primary food source for the Endangered Snail Kite ( Bird ). The eggs will be taken to Florida Atlantic University to be hatched and then returned to the wild.
